The ICAS story started back in 1956 from the ambitious idea of Cav. Bruno Getto: answering specific requests from major producers of sparkling wine, he was able to create and develop high-precision automated machines to industrialize the production of wirehoods, until then exclusively made by means of artisanal processes.
Thanks to the development of technologies and to the expansion of the markets, ICAS distribution network increased rapidly over the years, becoming today the major producer of wirehoods in the world.
