This is where the story begins, home to a family that has followed their own tradition for many years. Crossing woods and streams, they reach the high pastures where the cows find fresh grass.

For the Zucca family, the movement of animals from the hills to the mountains following the summer season, known as transhumance, is more than just work; it's a deep connection to the land and their roots. The photographs of this day capture the essence of an ancient tradition that still lives on.
